I love boating in Florida on my Hewes Redfisher 18. Recently, I was editing some videos and realized that I’ve visited many different parts of Florida on my Redfisher. In the past year and a half I’ve visited over 100 locations, roughly half by boat!
WHY THE HEWES REDFISHER 18?
When I was looking for a boat to buy I wanted a boat that was easy to trailer, easy to fish and performed really well. I also wanted a boat with good corporate backing and resale. Of all the boats i looked at the type of boat that fit the needs was a open water skiff. Narrowing it down further left me deciding between a Hell’s Bay Marquesa, East Cape Vantage and a Hewes Redfisher 18. In the end I chose the Redfisher 18. I’ve always loved its lines and it has a strong fan base with an equally strong parent company (Maverick Boat Group).
