HOW TO DRIVE A BOAT WITH CONFIDENCE

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR BOATERS?

The loosened travel restrictions will still be require boaters to complete an electronic Travel Health Visa. This will be required to travel among the different islands but the requirements will be much easier for those who are vaccinated. More information can be found HERE.

WHAT ISLANDS ARE THE BEST TO VISIT?

All of The Bahamas are great but the Islands that offer the most tropical experiences are Eleuthera, Staniel Cay, Exuma and Abaco and her Out Islands. Abaco is still recovering from Hurricane Dorian but is making a great recovery. If given the choice, I’d consider visiting these places first because they really need your business. Consider Elbow Cay and Green Turtle Cay if you feel inclined. Also, the area including and south of The Abaco Club at Winding Bay was virtually untouched by the storm. There are some amazing places to visit as well as some world-class fishing lodges like Blackfly Lodge.

DAY TRIPS!

Staniel Air & Exuma Adventures have put together awesome day trips that are available to book now. Your flight originates from Ft. When The Bahamas loosens travel restrictions beginning on May 1st, you’ll have a much easier time enjoying these trips.
