THIS IS ANOTHER ROCKY BEACH IN FLORIDA

BEACH

The beach at Washington Oaks State Park is a fantastic place to spend the day. The sand is nice, the scenery is fantastic and adults and kids alike will enjoy exploring the amazing rocks at the northern end. There aren’t any lifeguards and no amenities other than a porta potty located in the parking lot. Regardless, there are amenities on the western side and visiting the entire park is the way to go. Also, access is made easy due to a walking mat that lays over the dune. However, it would be a tough, uphilll push for anyone in a wheelchair.

THIS IS AN AMAZING BEACH TO VISIT BY BOAT

THE PARK

You’ll definitely not want to miss the park grounds west of A1A. In fact, that’s truly the most spectacular part! Over 20 acres of botanical gardens nestled within 425 acres of trails and bike paths are a site to see. Also, you’ll see beautiful trees within the coastal hammock. It’s a spectacular place to visit!
