Pass-A-Grille

St. Pete Beach, FL

Pass-A-Grille was one of the first places I ever visited on the west coast of Florida.  It’s one of my favorite beach towns in the entire state.

NICE BEACH

Like most west coast Florida beaches, the beach at Pass-A-Grille has a beautiful beach. Soft, white sand, clear, warm water and gentle surf are all found here. The more north you are away from the pass, the less current you’ll encounter. Also, the more northern beach accesses are less crowded and have more foliage over the dunes.  These are great spots to keep in mind when looking for a vacation rental.

QUAINT TOWN

Pass-A-Grille has a fantastic, quaint feel that is uncommon in many parts of Florida. The reason I love it is because, in-between the beach and the bay, you’ll find the streets and alley’s lined with coastal cottages that are more reminiscent of Key West than St. Pete Beach.

LOW-KEY ATMOSPHERE

With all the development throughout the State during the past decades, it’s refreshing to know that there are a handful of beach towns that have kept their low-key, character. Pass-A-Grille is definitely one of those towns.

AMENITIES

The beach in Pass-A-Grille offers plenty of amenities. Examples include, convenient beach parking, boardwalk ramps and rinsing showers, ample restaurants and restrooms the more south you go, and if you rent a vacation home or stay at one of the local resorts, the beach is a close walk. It’s also a great town if you’re a boater due to its vast bay front access.
