Henderson Beach State Park is has the clearest water in Florida and is definitely one of the best beaches in Florida. I visited this beach at the last minute and it wound up being the highlight of my trip!

INCREDIBLE CLARITY

The water at Henderson Beach State Park left me speechless. By now readers of my blog know I’m all about crystal-clear water. This beach shot to the top of my list with its’ water and it was one of those beaches that draws you in like a magnet. I could’ve spent the entire day in the water.

YET ANOTHER AMAZING STATE PARK

I’m convinced that Florida has some of the best State Parks in existence. Every time I visit one it seems like it’s better than the last one and I’m reminded how good our State is managing these priceless time capsules of yesteryear. Henderson Beach State Park will not disappoint. While not as large as some of the other State Parks on the Emerald Coast, this one is super-convenient and probably has the shortest walkways to the beach.

BRING YOUR RV

As if it doesn’t get any better, this beautiful location offers beachfront rv camping. No wonder why it’s such a popular spot!

Being located in Destin, the convenience of Henderson State Park provides pretty much anything you want just outside the park gate. Destin is a great town and is filled with lots of great things to do.
