Blind Pass Beach
Manasota Key, FLLOCATION
Blind Pass Beach is located in the center of Manasota Key. Manasota Key is a barrier island on the West Coast of Florida that parallels Venice and Englewood. The island is primarily residential but the Englewood Beach section has plenty of small resorts and vacation rentals. The drive along the coastal road is also one of the nicest in Florida.
AMENITIES
This beach offers plenty of amenities. Nice restrooms, a rinsing shower, picnic tables and plenty of parking all make Blind Pass Beach very popular. In addition, the park across the street offers a boat launch for kayaks. Like most beaches in Florida they’re free of charge.
BEAUTIFUL WATER
Blind Pass Beach is within the best stretch of clear water on the West Coast of Florida. From the mouth of Tampa Bay to North Captiva is where the clearest water is. Manasota Key and Blind Pass is located almost directly in the middle of it. Also, the waves are minimal and the sand is very soft with scattered shells mixed in. It’s a great beach for families.
