During last year’s hurricanes I stumbled across storm chaser Jeff Piotrowski.  I love his coverage because he’s super dramatic, kinda quirky but very real.  I also love his coverage because he gives his reports from the heart of the action and it’s way more informative, than the other coverage.  Last year he became famous for his coverage of Hurricane Harvey and his highlighting of “the blue shed”.  Look it up — it’s pretty funny.  Also, even though it’s serious reporting, the comments on the live stream (YouTube or Periscope) are hilarious.  I would highly recommend you watch him if you want to see what’s really happening.

You can find him for Hurricane Florence coverage on YouTube “Live” under the page “tornado alley”.

Hurricane Florence Coverage (YouTube Live under the name “tornado alley” also, normally on Periscope that’s accessed using Twitter but not sure why it’s not working for Florence)

Hopefully, the good people of North Carolina and South Carolina stay safe and don’t suffer the damage that initially was forecast.  To stay in the loop about what’s happening, tune in to Jeff Piotrowski and his courageous and informative (and entertaining) storm updates.
